The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) has just unveiled exciting details of its much-anticipated Knowledge Program for AIME 2025, which will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in February 2025.

The theme for 2025, “We Matter!”, underscores the vital role the business events industry plays as a powerful driver of economic growth globally. This year’s theme is a call to action for event professionals to recognize their impact on both their industries and the world.

Curated and hosted by BEAM Founder El Kwang, the Knowledge Program will kick off AIME on 10 February 2025 with a lineup of keynote speakers from AIME’s speaker bureau partners. Attendees will have the chance to hear from industry leaders, renowned professionals, and business event experts, all of whom will engage the 1600 global event professionals attending the first day of AIME 2025.

Leading the charge in shaping the Knowledge Program is the Knowledge Program Advisory Committee, a team of eight influential leaders from the Asia Pacific meetings and events industry. Together, they are designing a Knowledge Program that will spark curiosity, stir debate, and ignite conversations that matter to all corners of the events world.

The esteemed 2025 Advisory Committee includes:

  • Paul Boustani, Head of Events & Connections, Workplace Experience at Atlassian
  • Ashleigh Cooper, Events Manager at Charter Hall
  • Maggie Diasinos, Account Director at MCI Australia
  • Max Jantasuwan, Founder and CEO of Events Travel Asia Group
  • Ronald Lim, Business Events Strategist at Think Event By Think Tank Productions
  • Sarah Markey-Hamm, CEO of ICMS
  • Denise Sorrell, Director of Events at the Australian Dental Industry Association
  • Felicity Zadro, Founder and Managing Director of Zadro

El Kwang expressed his excitement for the 2025 theme, highlighting how 'We Matter!' will fuel important conversations and foster invaluable learning opportunities for all participants.

“As the Knowledge Program continues to take shape, we are brimming with optimism and anticipation. The contributions from our talented speakers will reflect the strength of our industry and drive us forward with purpose and confidence,” said Kwang.

AIME Event Director, Silke Calder, emphasized the growing importance of the Knowledge Program, stating that it has become a cornerstone of the AIME experience.

“We are thrilled to work alongside El Kwang and his team at BEAM to curate a Knowledge Program that brings together such a distinguished Advisory Committee,” Calder said. “We’re grateful to share a vision that delivers meaningful content to the business events community.”

The Knowledge Program is a ticketed event available to Hosted Buyers, Hosted Media, and Exhibitors. Visitor Buyers can purchase an upgrade to attend. The event will be held at MCEC, with AIME 2025 featuring over 600 exhibitors, 650 hosted buyers, and more than 20,000 meetings across its three-day event from 10-12 February.

AIME continues to connect global and local buyers with world-class exhibitors from the Asia Pacific and beyond. In a new development for 2025, the global exhibitions association UFI will co-locate its Asia-Pacific Conference with AIME at MCEC on 13-14 February, adding to the event’s prestige.
