UFI is the leading global association for the exhibitions industry, representing tradeshow organizers, fairground owners, national and international exhibition associations, and key industry partners. With a membership spanning 866 organizations across 88 countries and regions, UFI advocates for and supports the business interests of its members, while promoting excellence in the industry.
Notably, UFI’s quality label is proudly displayed by over 902 UFI-approved international events, including AIME, which guarantees high standards for both exhibitors and visitors.
The UFI Asia-Pacific Conference will bring together around 300 senior exhibition executives from across the region, reinforcing Melbourne as a premier destination for business events and expanding Australia’s profile within the Asia Pacific business events industry.
Mark Cochrane, UFI’s Regional Director Asia/Pacific, expressed his excitement about the event:
"The UFI team is thrilled to bring the Asia-Pacific Conference to Australia for the first time. Australia is a vital part of the Asia Pacific business events landscape with its world-class venues, robust infrastructure, and dynamic entrepreneurial spirit. Holding our conference alongside AIME 2025, with the support of MCEC and the ABEA, makes this an incredible opportunity for our members and the exhibition community in the region. We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne next year!"
AIME Event Director, Silke Calder, shared her enthusiasm for hosting the UFI delegates during AIME:
"We are absolutely delighted to welcome UFI delegates during AIME 2025. The presence of senior executives from leading global organizations will enhance the event’s dynamic, and we’re collaborating with UFI to ensure they feel right at home at AIME."
Further details on the UFI Asia-Pacific Conference, along with the agenda for the AIME 2025 Knowledge Program and Ideas Academy, will be announced later in 2024.
