The AIME Team are working hard behind the ‘screen’ adapting to the new normal and brainstorming ways to make the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event better than ever in 2021. For our youngest team member, Eliza Pearce, events and exhibitions is in her blood. With her dedicated, outgoing and witty personality, Eliza keeps her team mates on their toes! There is no challenge that we have thrown Eliza that she has not met … look out AIME 2021!

1. Why do you love events?
   I grew up surrounded by events and loved the idea of working in an environment that stresses everyone having a great time. There is never a dull moment in the events industry, and each challenge is so rewarding to overcome.
2. What is your favourite destination in the world?
   Without a doubt, Italy. Italy has the best of everything, from the cuisine to the beaches and every experience in between. It is the first place I plan on going back to once this craziness is over!
3. What is the last book you read?
   Boy Swallows Universe by Trent Dalton. Such a quintessential Australian book with quirky and raw humour that I could not put down!
4. What three words best describes you?
   Outgoing, witty and considerate.
5. What have you learnt this year?
   To never to choose to stay home on a Saturday night again!
6. What is a fact about you that surprises people?
   When I was 21, I lived abroad and travelled to 16 countries in 6 months. Which was only the tip of the iceberg of the places I want to go!
7. What are your daily simple pleasures during these isolated times?
   Cuddling my newborn nephew, Eddie.
8. What are you looking forward to most when isolation is over?
   Being able to head to my favourite pub in Richmond with the girls and book an overseas adventure ASAP!
