Carina has been CEO of IMEX Group since 2009 and leads a team of 80 running the largest global events for the meetings industry. Passionate about the business events sector and its impact on the world, she has been an active member of the industry over the past 20+ years including as Past Chair of the AEO Council and Past President of the SITE Foundation. Carina is the proud recipient of a number of industry awards including the AEO Outstanding Contribution to the Industry, SITE Richard Ross Past Presidents’ Award and PCMA Wayfinder Award. She’s also an inductee of the EIC Hall of Leaders. In her spare time, Carina works with a variety of local charities and is Chair of the Brighton and Hove Albion Foundation.
