With over 30 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, strategy, storytelling, CSR and sustainability, Gaynor is a multi-award-winning communications specialist, who understands how to deliver communications campaigns that drive business goals. She was formerly VP Communications & CSR for Accor Asia Pacific, sitting on the group’s Executive Committee. In this role, she oversaw external and internal communications across more than 1200 hotels and resorts in 20 countries and was instrumental in ensuring the group’s communications programs aligned with and supported the group’s overall strategy.

Gaynor has launched and rebranded 250+ hotels over the course of her career, regularly hosted media on famil programs, held numerous press conferences and media events and oversaw crisis communications for crises including the Asian tsunami, Palu earthquake, and Coronavirus pandemic.

She has worked with clients including Accor, Banyan Tree, Fairmont, Langham Hotels, Tourism Western Australia, Ovolo, TravMedia, the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, World Wide Fund for Nature and more. She has done PR for the True Colors Festival with superstar Katy Perry, Mike Cannon-Brookes (the richest man in Australia), and Naina Batra, CEO of Asia Venture Philanthropists Network and has provided crisis and communications training for executives at Accor, Club Med, IHG, Atlas and more.

In her previous life, Gaynor was a journalist and editor, so she knows how to create a great story and pitch it. She has a deep understanding of the media landscape in the region and strong networks worldwide. She was voted Global Communicator of the Year in 2020 by the Global Travel Media Alliance. Gaynor knows the travel media intimately and has forged strong relationships across the region to ensure her clients get great coverage in print, broadcast, and online.
