Julie has over 35 years experience in Events and Corporate Communications. She cut her teeth with projects such as the Qantas Float, Ampol/Caltex merger, the launch of Optus and Optus Vision, product launches for organisations such as Arnott’s, Goodman Fielder, Uncle Toby’s, Telecom New Zealand, Volkswagon, Joop, to name a few. She managed her own PCO business for 14 years, specialising in turning association events into financially sustainable models. Her role at AusIMM includes the strategic management and direction of the conferences portfolio within the resources sector to deliver professional development, as well as managing an in-house PCO team. She has been responsible within organisations for creating high-performing teams, implementing processes, leading change management and assisting in adjusting company culture. Her passion lies in organisational strategy and turning companies into successful financial and cultural entities.
