The AIME 2027 trade show takes place on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 February at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Whether you're seeking new destinations, services or ideas, you’ll discover over 800+ exhibitors from across the business events landscape, plus practical insights through the AIME Ideas on the Floor educational sessions.

For those looking to dive deeper, Knowledge Monday and the Welcome Event will be held on Monday 15 February. These upgrade experiences are available exclusively to Visitor Buyers and provide even more opportunities to learn and connect.

To maintain the integrity of our event, Visitor Buyer registrations are carefully reviewed. If your role involves selling to the business events industry, you’ll be classified as a Visitor Supplier. Visitor Buyers must pre-register and be approved by 5pm on Monday 15 February to gain full access to the meeting platform. Visitor Buyers may still register onsite but will not have access to the meeting platform.

AIME welcomes two types of visitor attendees: Visitor Buyers and Visitor Suppliers. Each has tailored access to ensure the right connections and opportunities on the show floor. 

Visitor buyer

If you plan and purchase business events and are not a supplier or vendor, you may be eligible to attend AIME 2027 as a Visitor Buyer. Enjoy free access to:

  • 800+ exhibitors from across Australia, the Asia Pacific and beyond

  • Ideas Academy on the Floor

  • The AIME meetings app, enabling you to arrange meetings in advance with exhibitors

Visitor Buyers can also choose to upgrade their experience by adding the following paid features to their badge (held on Monday 15 February):

  • Knowledge Monday – a full day of expert-led education sessions

  • The Welcome Event – our industry networking kick-off

Please note: upgrades are not available to Visitor Suppliers. All Visitor Buyer registrations will be reviewed to ensure applicants are active event planners with purchasing authority.

Visitor Suppliers are those who provide products or services to the business events industry. Your Visitor Supplier badge includes access to:

  • 800+ exhibitors from Australia, APAC and beyond

  • Ideas Academy on the Floor sessions

However, this badge does not include upgrade access to Knowledge Monday or the Welcome Event.

To maximise your visibility and access, we encourage suppliers to consider exhibiting. Exhibitors receive full access to AIME's Knowledge Monday, the Welcome Event and pre-scheduled meetings with buyers during the trade show.

AIME Ideas Academy on the Floor

The AIME 2027 Ideas Academy on the Floor is held on the trade show floor on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 February 2027.

The program will offer you the opportunity to discover the latest event trends and insights, ready for you to take away to increase your event experience.

Access to Ideas Academy on the Floor is open to all event attendees.

The agenda will be published in December 2026.

Attracting 1,500+ attendees, Knowledge Monday features two inspirational keynote sessions and a global insights and business outlook panel discussion in the plenary session. Attendees then break out into streamed sessions in the afternoon.

The Welcome Event features entertainment, great food and drink and the opportunity for our buyers and exhibitors to meet. Open to exhibitors, hosted buyers, and upgraded visitor buyers. The AIME Welcome Event is always a spectacular evening!
