Over the last few months, the AIME team have been giving you all a little insight into their lives behind the “screens” at home. We may have taken a break for a while, but we have a new team member for you to get to know!

Meet Szilvia Horkai, who has just joined the AIME team in her role as Event Sales – The Pacific & Europe. Szilvia has a passion for adventure and travel which has taken her career to some of the world’s most prestigious hotels including the World’s Tallest Hotel, the JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai and the Hilton Malta. Szilvia is bilingual (English and Hungarian), loves to cook, enjoys a challenge, and obviously loves to travel. Learn more about her here:

1. Why do you love events?
   I love events as it brings people together. It gives the opportunity to network and get to know new people from all around the world. I love the buzz and excitement of a big event and can’t wait to see my first AIME come together.
2. What is your favourite destination in the world?
   I’ve got so many! But I would have to say that New York is my all-time favourite.
3. What is the last book you read?
   Currently reading Providence by Caroline Kepnes.
4. What three words best describes you?
   Honest, Loyal and Funny.
5. What have you learnt this year?
   Not to take anything for granted and how much I love to travel.
6. What is a fact about you that surprises people?
   I am the daughter of a gold medallist Olympian.
