The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) is a global community and knowledge hub for the international association and governmental meetings industry.

Founded in 1963, ICCA specialises in the international association meetings sector, offering unparalleled data, education, and communication channels, as well as business development and networking opportunities.

Today, ICCA is one of the most prominent organisations in, and advocates for, the world of international meetings. The ICCA Association Community offers associations across the world education, connections, tools, and resources to help them organise more effective and successful meetings.

ICCA Regional Business Exchange at AIME

A unique, confidential session where ICCA members present and analyse real association bids—both wins and losses—to help each other learn, grow, and win smarter.

All ICCA members attending AIME 2026 can participate and must each bring a lead that is pre-qualified by ICCA.

Lead criteria:

Association meetings only
Won or lost bids for events have taken/are taking place after 1 January 2024
Attendance of 150 pax and above, and rotate between a minimum of three countries/territories
The lead must have "World/International or Asia Pacific" as rotation
Members are requested to only submit leads they did not already use for any prior ICCA Business Exchange sessions

If you plan to attend the Business Exchange, you can now register and submit your lead (just the name of the association meeting and its edition) to BE@iccaworld.org for pre-qualification by 9 January 2026, Friday. Once your lead is pre-qualified, a form will be shared with you to complete the lead details.

Knowledge Monday: Sustainable by design: Turning your green investments into powerful brand value - powered by ICCA APAC and EarthCheck

In this session, ICCA and industry partners will share practical case studies and tips on real sustainable and green actions that organisations can easily apply. Through interactive discussions, we will explore how companies have reduced waste, saved resources, and created positive environmental impact through simple, achievable changes. Using real-life examples, we will demonstrate how organisations can make the most of their sustainability investments—turning green actions into effective marketing messages and strong performance outcomes. Participants will learn how to communicate their efforts clearly, build customer trust, and highlight the value created for both the business and the environment. We matter—and as business events experts, we can lead the way in driving sustainable practices.
