Silke is a highly motivated sales and event specialist with over 20 years of experience in various fields including events and trade fairs as well as the creative/agency sector.

Having previously worked as the Head of Sales Guest Events at Messe Frankfurt Venue GmbH, as well as other companies across Germany, Australia and the UAE, Silke is passionate about the business events industry. Loving any form of gathering, the shaping and growing of events excites Silke the most.

Together with her team, Silke will be working hard to deliver the right platform to connect, do business and learn at AIME during the challenging times the industry is currently facing.

As Silke says, although she is German, she does have a sense of humour – essential for working in the events industry!

She is also not afraid of a challenge … at the age of 30 she decide to leave her job at Saatchi & Saatchi in Frankfurt to travel around Australia to learn English. Along the way she met a travelling buddy from Manchester … needless to say she had no idea what her new friend was saying for the first three months!
