Simon Cooper

The Ideas Academy Master of Ceremonies will be Simon Cooper, Managing Director of Interpoint Events.
Simon has more than forty years international experience in organising trade shows and conferences. Simon began his career organising large expos in Hong Kong, before moving to the UK and working with Advanstar Communications organising more than 20 telecommunication expos and conferences per year around the world. He then worked for five years in North America before heading back to Australia and launching Interpoint in 2004 as part of the Intermedia publishing company.
Starting with just one show, Simon built Interpoint to more than twenty events per year; many of these events have subsequently been purchased by industry associations. Interpoint’s achievements include winner of Best Show in Australia/New Zealand and a finalist on multiple occasions for new show launches.
